Webster Antique Sterling Silver Cut Glass Basket Candy Dish Folding Handle 5"
This is an antique Webster sterling silver and cut glass basket motif candy dish. The item is marked on the side by maker with Webster mark (WCo with arrow and "Sterling"). See my close-up photo of the mark area. The item features a fold down handle and a hand cut floral design. No chips or cracks. Silver has an aged patina. The company was founded in 1869 in North Attleboro, Mass. by George Webster and later the company became a subsidiary of Reed and Barton in the 1950's. This item measures 5 1/8" diameter x 3 1/2" tall with handle in up position.
